Amanda’s cute, adorable, fantastic family

I was shivering timbers to shoot this exceptionally talented photographer’s family. It’s so unnerving working up to the session. And then they show up…and they’re just so…..lovely. And perfect. And crazy, the best kind.

Jean + Chris // Coeur d’Alene Engagement Photographer

Bah. Honestly probably forgot how to type. It’s been a whirlwind of a fall — I’ve gotten so behind on my blog. I have so many fun things to catch up on but first, I want to blog these two monkeys. Chris is one of my sister-in-law’s friends so I got to know him years ago while living in Coeur d’Alene. Chris is such a sweet, sweet guy. Actually, as I type I can’t even picture him not smiling. I’m trying really hard to….not there. Chris is very involved with Komen and breast cancer fundraising so we got to partner with him a bit when I lived there. He’s just good people. Fast forward a few years when I got to meet Jean. ADORE. I mean….A FREAKING DORE. We were at our good friend’s wedding in Seattle. I was pregnant, sick, sober, super fun. She came bee-bopping up to me and introduced herself. Kind of fell in love with her right there. Jean is so happy, full of energy and ssswweeeeter than…well…sugar. She let me know that when she got married I’d be shooting their wedding. I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure she contacted me about a year later…just days after her engagement. Jean’s enlisting me to help her with photography, invitation design and bling. I love being able to help in the whole process. I feel like such a creepster but I really want to just hug them both when I think about them. I’m so happy for the duo. Can’t wait for July 20th peeps!

Oh. AND Jean showed up to our session with an adorable basket of chocolate, wine, craft beer. WTH? Cheek pinching time. Love her.
