Barbara // Senior

Yoink. I’m just realizing how poor I’ve been at blogging. I have a lot of catching up to do. There’s no better place to start than with the stunning Barbara. Barbara is an intelligent, beautiful, sweet and soft-spoken senior who is spending her year at a school in Massachusetts. I was so inspired by her doing something different. I really enjoyed my evening with her. Barbara asked if she could bring her best friend, another stunning senior that I shot this year. I think it’s so special when clients want to capture those special relationships. The three of us took out the paddle boats for a few shots. Note…those things are slow moving. We kind of worked up a sweat just getting to the pond. Well, I did anyway. Captain workout. Barbara had such a lovely and elegant fashion sense. She probably had my favorite hair shake of the year. Barbara, I hope you are enjoying your senior year back east and I wish you the best next year in college. You have great, great things ahead of you missy!

Julie Freeman - Crissie, these are so creative and beautiful and I love every single one. Amazing

Betsy + Brian // Married

Betsy was a bride that I’d only been able to meet via Skype prior to the big day because she lives in CA. It’s so important to me to be on a friend level with all of my clients because that relationship is what fuels my passion. What I loved best about Betsy was that the first time we “actually” met was when I walked into the salon on the day of her wedding. We were instantly good old friends. She’s warm, friendly and has the craziest smile. I just adored her instantly. Brian is the quiet, kind, funny type. They are such a perfect compliment to one another. Betsy and Brian, thank you SO much for including me in your special day. Including me so much that I just felt like a guest. Your friends and family are all so special and adore you both. It’s so easy to see why. Congrats you two! Moi!

Thank you so much to the talented Crystal Samson for second shooting that day.

Crystal - Gorgeous Crissie! The one where they’re looking at each other and her veil is flowing behind her is my favorite…wow, just stunning!

Naps. Poor ones.

Oh a 45 minute nap eh? I guess that’s alright when you look like this.

Brook - Naps are overrated. Ivy rarely takes a decent one at home. I have given up thinking I am going to get anything accomplished. That too is overrated.
