Agh, Charles and Katie are finally going to tie the knot! This makes me incredibly happy! Katie is one of my closest friends. You won’t find a more loyal, caring, trustworthy, creative and stunning person out there. You also won’t find someone more afraid of meat (excluding hot dogs) until recently…welcome to our side, more hilarious, more stylish and at times more stinky. HA. Sorry Sham. Revenge of the bean and cheese burits! I met this little minx probably 12 years ago in college. It didn’t take long for us to latch on to one another in our graphic design classes. We became good friends pretty much right away. She was my partner in crime. My little buddy to slink into our AM class after a rowdy night at the Corner Club right before a presentation. After college we worked together at 3 different graphic design jobs in 3 different cities. We just couldn’t stay away. Who else was I going to slack off with? I even convinced her to move to Boise a couple of years back to work at my office but this was right when she started dating Charlie (another UI grad/Corner Club aficionado). Sadly, Charlie won the location battle and she moved back to Coeur d’Alene to start a life with him. This past May, he proposed to Katie on her 31st birthday. I cried when I found out. I was pregnant, but I meant it!
I am so honored Katie and Charlie hired me to shoot their wedding next summer. It’s going to be the event of the year fo sho. Party time yall!
Our good friend Mel happened to be in town from Seattle so she donned her Rachel Zoe hat and helped style Katie. I’ve never had the chance to spend one-on-one time with this fab little couple, we’ve always been around friends so this shoot was a really great time for me. I got to see the two of them interact with one another on a different level than I had ever witnessed and it couldn’t have made me happier. They are completely smitten with one another. Charlie completely dotes on Katie and you can tell he is her best friend on the planet. You had me cracking up the entire time. Charlie and his comments from the peanut gallery. I am so happy for you both! You mean the world to me! Congrats! Brittle my friend. Brittle and petals.
The waterfall was so misty!
