After I built my last table I promised my husband I would make him a nightstand so that he could stop putting his book and phone on top of the laundry hamper each night. And for me…so that he could actually get INTO the laundry hamper and not put his clothes all over the floor. Sigh.
Recently I discovered the coolest blog, knockoffwood.com. This adorable woman basically posts plans for furniture from popular retailers like Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and many others. She does a great job at making things nice and simple.
I made 2 of these nightstands this weekend in 5 hours (including staining) for $48 total. What a STEAL! It was REALLY simple and really fun. And my back hurts. Click here to see her simple plans.
I am so excited about all of the plans she is posting that I am just trying to decide what to do next. I feel like an entertainment center is in order. The hubbers would HAVE to let us get a flat screen then, right?
Sorry about the icky photos. OHHH!!! They have drawers….THAT MOVE! I never thought I could!!!
