New Idaho Indie Works Store Opens TODAY In Downtown Boise

A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to join forces with one of the most incredibly talented groups of local artisans imaginable. Since then the group of us, held together by Etsy, has grown enormously.  We have done shows, First Thursdays and many other events together. And now, for the first time ever, we are opening our own brick and mortar store in the heart of Downtown Boise. The space has been transformed into an eclectic little shop filled with treasures handmade by 25 local artists. This stuff is cool. Seriously. It is hard for me not to shop, so I will. I am selling my jewelry down there, Izzy P Designs, named and inspired after my Grandma Izzy (a jewelry maker herself). Along with my bling you will find clothing, knit hats, kid’s apparel/accessories, home decor & accessories, soap, journals, stuffed animals, quilts, paintings, photos, ceramics, wall art and more jewelry than you could shake a stick at. And the other jewelry in there is SO good.

Today is our “soft” opening for First Thursday. Head down there and check it all out. Our grand opening is slated for April First. No foolin’. Waka waka. It is going to be a party not to be missed.

I took some pics to demonstrate the sheer talent in this group. You can click on any of these to enlarge.

The store is located on 6th and Main in Downtown Boise. It’s in the Pioneer Tent Building next to Jenny’s Lunch Line, Jimmy Johns and Chronic Taco. Stop by and see us!

Kay Langland - Congratulations, I am so excited about your new store. It is an exciting and scary time. I know you will do great. I own a store in Missoula, MT called “Upcycled” where everything is made by local Montana artists and everything is from recycled materials.

A recent patron to our store sent me your link.
